When designing Luxe at Play’s range, we wanted to provide an array of size options to ensure that every home (whether big or small) could have a safe non-toxic mat to suit their lifestyle - without having to compromise on quality or style. Our beautiful playmats have so many uses with each size serving a practical (yet pretty) purpose.
SMALL (140cm x 100cm)
Designed in Australia and made with safe sustainable materials, our small playmat is a popular option for gifting to mums-to-be. It’s the perfect size for a new baby to explore their surroundings with tummy time and nappy free kicks and perfectly fits an activity play gym. When bub gets older, the small mat can be placed under a highchair to protect your floors from the inevitable spills. The best part? Each mat features a water-resistant surface that is completely wipeable – no need to worry about baby dribble or reflux on your carpet. The mat simply wipes clean with a damp cloth to easily remove mess.
ROUND (1.4m diameter)
Our round play mats are designed for stylish living, featuring beautifully illustrated designs in a soft neutral colour palette that will compliment any nursery or child’s bedroom. It also doubles as the perfect backdrop for capturing all those milestone photos with your bundle of joy. Better yet, the material is lightweight – simply roll the mat up and take it outside to use as a picnic mat for fun in the outdoors (please avoid placing in direct sunlight). The round size is another fantastic option in nurseries and kids’ bedrooms and for homes with smaller living areas, creating a safe environment for your baby to explore in your lounge room.

The options are endless for our roomiest luxe playmat. It’s big enough for your little one to master milestones on – from crawling to that first wobbly step. As a mother of two myself, we wanted to ensure that the product was supportive enough to protect babies from those dreaded bumps and bruises. That’s why the design incorporates a thick 1.5cm shock absorbent foam core to ensure your little one can play to their heart’s content without worry. And mama’s we haven’t forgotten about you! The large size mat is ideal for your morning yoga or stretches. We’ve also had feedback from our lovely customers, who have replaced their fibre rug in a living area with one of our on trend large mats - meaning no more stress about kids making a mess! In a playroom, kids can enjoy crafts or have fun with playdough knowing that the mat surface wipes down to look like new again.
