REVERSIBLE PADDED PLAY MATS:
We recommend using a soft damp cloth or warm soapy water immediately after a spill to avoid staining on your mat.
Baby wipes and chemical based cleaning agents are not recommended. This includes natural cleaning agents as these contain essentials oils which react with and cause discoloration and long term damage.
Creases and curled over corners are a result from being rolled up tightly in the packaging box for a period of time. We recommend you unroll your play mat out in the reverse direction it was rolled. This will encourage the mat to relax and flatten quicker.
Our reversible padded play mats are available in three sizes:
Large: 200cm (L) x 140cm (W) x 1.5cm thick
Small: 100cm (L) x 140cm (W) x 1.5cm thick
Round: 1.4m diameter x 1.5cm thick
Yes, as our play mats are made using non-toxic materials and free of chemical stabilisers / plasticisers, over time fading and discoloration to both the surface and edges of our play mats is to be expected (more so our lighter toned play mats). The timeframe for this natural process depends on how your play mat is used and cared for and our Care Instructions provided will assist with, not prevent, this natural process and prolong the life of your play mat.
When not in use we also recommend rolling your play mat up and storing away.
To prolong the life of your play mat we recommend using inside only. However, if you do choose to use outside, avoid using in high temperatures or placing in direct sunlight as this will cause fading and discoloration of your play mat.
Our play mats are made from a non-toxic TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) material. TPU is a high quality, lightweight, soft yet durable material. TPU is free of nasty chemicals, colour stabilisers, plasticisers and better yet a biodegradable material.
Absolutely! Creating a safe option for your little ones to play is our priority which is why we have sourced a product that is compliant with Australian & New Zealand AS/NZS ISO 8124 and European EN71(3) Toy Standards. Our play mats are free of toxic substances such as BPA, formaldehyde, phthalates or any harmful heavy metal substances such as lead or mercury and are latex and PVC free.
PLUSH PLAY MATS:
1. Vacuum Regularly: We recommend vacuuming on a regular basis as this will clean off any crumbs or loose dirt before it rubs deeper into the rug.
2. Wipe up spills quickly: Quickly wipe off spills with a soft damp cloth as this will avoid staining of the mat. For stubborn spills, use warm soapy water. Avoid heavy rubbing as this will cause the spill to go deeper into the rug. Once removed, wipe over again with warm water to remove the soap from the rug and allow to dry.
3. Carpet Cleaning: We recommend an occasional professional carpet clean or diy clean using a wet vacuum (eg a Bissell), which is a great way to remove stubborn marks. Please ensure the sun is shining to allow time for the rug to dry outside before returning inside.

Unfortunately no! The quality of the play mat will be compromised and it would also cause damage to washing machine. We don't recommend using an industrial washing machine either as again the play mat will be compromised.
Yes, provided the box is unopened!
However, please be mindful when purchasing as this product does not qualify for returns due to colour variations, incorrect sizing or change of mind once the item has been opened. This product is vacuum sealed and upon opening will expand to its full size and you will be unable to repackage the item. We recommend measuring your space to ensure the size to suitable.
Yes! There may be a slight colour variation from screen to real life as RGB colours reflect differently on phones and monitors compared to real life. The description colours provided are based on the pantone codes used however this can vary in printing / production.
Creases are a result of your mat being vacuum sealed and tightly compressed inside the packaging for a prolonged period of time. Over time these creases naturally remove themselves, however with a little assistance these creases can be removed quicker.
1. Use your hands: Rubbing your hands along the creases will help flatten out smaller creases. Pushing / pulling from the edges will help re-shape the mat and also assist with flattening out the creases.
2. Use a steamer: A steamer will quickly puff the mat back to it’s original state and remove any stubborn creases. Please use on low heat to avoid damaging the surface!
3. Warm sun: Don’t have a steamer, don’t worry! Placing the mat in the sun (inside) or a warm room, will help soften the creases. It may take one - two weeks to return to it’s original shape so please be patient.

As with any rug, discoloration over time can occur from foot traffic and everyday use and therefore regular vacuuming along with spot cleaning is recommended. With proper care, your plush play mat will be a beautiful (and extremely comfortable) feature in your home for years to come.

The outer surface of our plush play mats are made from 100% Polyester. The inner core is made from 35D, high density polyethene memory foam.

1. Receipt of purchase
2. Returned within 14 days
3. Your mat is unused and in the original condition you received it.
4. Your mat is returned in it's original and undamaged packaging (including the box, straps and protective cover).

Luxe at Play is not responsible for shipping charges, either on the initial delivery or return, for any change of mind purchases and will be charged the same same shipping fee to return the item.

Yes, a flat rate shipping fee will be charged and added to your purchase at checkout.
On average, all domestic orders take 3-10 business days from dispatch.
All orders are automatically ATL. However, if there is no safe place to leave your goods, or unable to access your premises, the courier will leave a card along with an email advising of the failed delivery attempt with instructions. If there is a Pop Station or Newsagency available, your goods will be delivered there; otherwise taken to the nearest depot for re-delivery (at your expense). Alternatively, if you would like to opt out of ATL, please ensure you leave a detailed note at checkout advising the courier: SIGNATURE REQUIRED - DO NOT LEAVE GOODS UNATTENDED.
