MATERIAL & CUSHIONING:
Made from non-toxic TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) with 1.5cm thick cushioning, creating a soft and comfortable surface for tummy time, crawling and everyday play.
TPU is lightweight, soft yet durable and designed to handle the everyday demands of family life.
CLEANING & CARE:
Our Reversible Padded Play Mats feature an easy-to-clean wipeable surface, making everyday spills and messes simple to manage.
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and allow the surface to dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning products that may damage the surface.
GOOD TO KNOW:
Our Reversible Padded Play Mats are made using non-toxic materials without chemical stabilisers or plasticisers. As a result, some fading or discolouration of the surface and edges may naturally occur over time, particularly with lighter-toned mats.
The rate of this natural process will depend on how your mat is used and cared for. Following our Care Instructions can help prolong the life and appearance of your mat but will not completely prevent natural fading or discolouration.
Care Instructions
- To avoid staining the surface, wipe clean immediately, using a soft damp cloth.
- Gently wipe over using water or warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
- Avoid using baby wipes and chemical based cleaning agents (this includes natural cleaning agents containing essential oils). Cleaning agents react with our play mats, causing long term damage / discoloration.
- Not recommended for outdoor use. High temperatures and direct sunlight will cause discoloration and deterioration of your play mat.
- Avoid using sharp or hot objects on your play mat (high heels, scissors, coffee cups and vacuums, etc).
- Avoid using ink/markers as these may leave permanent marks.
- Heavy furniture (eg, coffee table, chairs, couch) may cause permanent indentations.
- Not designed for pets
- Do not steam clean.

Before first use
1. Ensure all packaging is removed and discarded correctly (keep the velcro straps as these are handy for rolling up your mat)
2. To avoid a tripping hazard, roll your mat out in the opposite direction. This will encourage the mat to relax and flatten creases.
3. Wipe over with a soft damp cloth with either water or soapy water and leave to dry.

How do I reduce the creases?
Creases and curled over corners are a result from being rolled up tightly in the packaging box for a period of time. We recommend you unroll your play mat out in the reverse direction it was rolled. This will encourage the mat to relax and flatten quicker.
Can I use my play mat outside?
To prolong the life of your play mat we recommend using inside only. However, if you do choose to use outside, avoid using in high temperatures or placing in direct sunlight as this will cause fading and discoloration of your play mat.
My play mat is discoloured – is this normal?
Yes, as our play mats are made using non-toxic materials and free of chemical stabilisers / plasticisers, over time fading and discoloration to both the surface and edges of our play mats is to be expected (more so our lighter toned play mats). The timeframe for this natural process depends on how your play mat is used and cared for and our Care Instructions provided will assist with, not prevent, this natural process and prolong the life of your play mat.
When not in use we also recommend rolling your play mat up and storing away.
Is the play mat non-toxic?
Absolutely! Creating a safe option for your little ones to play is our priority which is why we have sourced a product that is compliant with Australian & New Zealand AS/NZS ISO 8124 and European EN71(3) Toy Standards. Our play mats are free of toxic substances such as BPA, formaldehyde, phthalates or any harmful heavy metal substances such as lead or mercury and are latex and PVC free.
How do I clean my play mat?
We recommend using a soft damp cloth or warm soapy water immediately after a spill to avoid staining on your mat.
Baby wipes and chemical based cleaning agents are not recommended. This includes natural cleaning agents as these contain essentials oils which react with and cause discoloration and long term damage.
